Our topic is occupation. We have been learning about people who help us. we visited Dawlish fire station to hear and see all what they do to help people. We sat in the Fire Engine and sprayed the hose!
We loved our super hero dress up day. We enjoyed super hero dancing and our super hero mission to rescue Rainbow Girl.
What an adventure we have had, journeying to space this week. We saw planets and stars and even some aliens!
A Wriggly Nativity! We are very proud of how well the children performed in their Nativity. Thank you for coming and supporting us at all of our Christmas events.

On Thursday we held a Christmas Craft afternoon where our parents and carers could come and join us. We had a variety of crafts on offer followed by mince pies and a cup of tea. We finished our afternoon with some lovely festive singing. We all had a lovely time- Thank you for coming.
We tracked down a T-Rex on our dinosaur safari.

We had fun in our bonfire and firework themed movement lesson.
We had fun making biscuits this week with a 'Meg and Mog' theme.
We went on an adventure today like the characters in ‘Room on the Broom’. We shared our ideas and joined in with the actions. We flew through the air on a broomstick and hid in a cave from a fierce dragon. Then we helped the witch to make a magic spell to send him to sleep.
We have been making magic potions and casting spells with our own magic wands. This was inspired by the story 'Superworm', next week we have chosen 'Room on the Broom' as our story so we can carry on our magical theme.
We loved reading 'Stickman' by Julia Donaldson. He even visited us at school, but he kept running away! Luckily we were good at finding him. We found lots of clues to his whereabouts, such as conkers, leaves and moss.
Thank you for attending our Early Reading and Writing session today. Here are the 'singalong letters' as promised.
