Autumn term in Unit 2!

It has been a busy, yet productive term in Unit 2!

We were lucky enough to be visited by some of our grandparents who had experienced living in Mexico. We thoroughly enjoyed looking at artefacts and pictures as well as listening to them talk about what it was like to live there! A huge 'thank you' to them for giving up their time.

We also had the opportunity to visit Dawlish library. each class walked to the library and explored the book genres within it. After our visit, we followed up our learning by producing a piece of creative writing, within which we used our imaginations to pretend that we were able to travel into our chosen book.

Well done to all of the children in Unit 2 who led our carol concert again this year! They also carefully decorated jars with glitter and used these to 'light the way' during our service.
