Mon 07 Dec 2020This year we have decided to theme our tree on Christmas Jumpers and support Save the Children charity, we will be inviting children to wear their Christmas Jumper to school on Wednesday 9th December (which is also Christmas dinner day).

Free School Meals holiday voucher scheme
Fri 04 Dec 2020DCC have now put in place arrangements to provide supermarket vouchers to nearly 15,000 children across Devon who currently receive free school meals, to help their families buy groceries over the Christmas holidays.

We donât want anyone to miss out on this vital support so look out for a letter or email from DCC next week for details about how to access your vouchers or an alternative food box.If you think you may now be eligible for free school meals due to a recent change in circumstances, please apply online through the Devon Citizenâs as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can call our education helpline on 0345 155 1019. To ensure you receive the free school meals holiday vouchers for this Christmas period you must apply by Friday 18 December 2020.

Fundraising for Charity
Thu 03 Dec 2020The children have all been very busy making decorations for our school Christmas tree. This year we have entered our tree in the Dartmoor Christmas Tree competition. If you use face book please follow their page to support us with a chance of winning. Our photo will be posted the week commencing 7th December and the top five likes will be put forward for judging, when the post has been released please feel free to share with friends and family the more votes the better the chance we have!
This year we have decided to theme our tree on Christmas Jumpers and support Save the Children charity, we will be inviting children to wear their Christmas Jumper to school on Wednesday 9th December (which is also Christmas dinner day). We will be collecting a voluntary donation of 50p per child which will all be donated to Save the Children. Should you wish to donate more we have set up a just giving page.

Christmas Craft
Wed 02 Dec 2020New starters September 2021 - as we are unable to invite you into school this year for our annual Christmas craft event we have prepared some craft bags with a Christmas activity to do at home . If your child attends Little Swans these packs will be sent home via pre-school. For any other families with a child due to start school in September 2021, please call into the office to collect a pack. -
