• Unit 2 Daisi Workshop - supported by The Helen Foundation

  During the summer term, Unit 2 welcomed a professional artist to produce a piece of artwork inspired by our topic learning of local geography. The children worked in groups throughout the day to plan, design and create 'relief art' on four large panels. The art day was supported and part funded by The Helen Foundation and Daisi (a registered charity). All children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with a professional artist, and working together to create produce some whole school art.

  

• Inspiration Assembly

  Dr Marrs visited us for our inspiration assembly this week. She talked to us about jobs in hospitals and why she became a doctor. The children were able to ask lots of questions about the role of a doctor.
