Autumn term

Take a look below to see some of this things we've been up to throughout the autumn term. 

Our art lessons have focused on learning new skills to create art work with clay. 

We took part in a whole school geography launch day. This included a full day of geography activities and ended with a visit from the workers at The Jurassic Coast Trust, who brought in some fascinating artefacts and shared their knowledge about our local coast.

Spring term

Here are some of the brilliant learning experiences that Unit 3 have taken part in over the spring term so far. 

We started off the year with a trip to The Eden project, this linked in with our geography learning about biomes and eco-systems, looking specifically at South America. We learnt a lot about the rainforest and about the impact of our actions on the rainforest. 

This led onto some debate writing where we looked at the pros and cons of a vegan lifestyle, we found many of the arguments for the vegan lifestyle could also benefit the rainforest. 

As part of this we did some food tasting where the children have to investigate if the foods were vegan or non vegan... we had some surprising results!

Secondary Applications

If you have a child who is going to be in year 6 in September, you will need to apply for their secondary school place between the 1st September and the 31st October. All information will be sent out during the first week of term. Please look out for the letter in your child's school bag!
